Last but not least of my (untimely) London Fashion Week coverage is Ashley Isham . I wasn't familiar with the London-based Singaporean designer (yes, that's what a person from Singapore is called, I looked it up) but I was all 'ooh!' as soon as his first look hit the runway. From my fortuitous vantage point - I was directly in line with the models as they began their walk from backstage - I was in awe of the headpieces which were a mix of silk flowers, pouffy embroidered tulle, some with chopstick-like appendages finished with tassles.

Katrina Kaif, well known for her persuasive powers, got producer Aditya Chopra to agree to shoot one extra romantic number with Imran Khan for the forthcoming ” Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” at the Taj Mahal.Apparently, shooting at the Taj in the moonlight has been Katrina’s dream since her arrival in India. In fact, the actress says that her idea for the perfect wedding is to exchange vows at the Taj Mahal in the moonlight.

Born in Cornwall, UK, in 1965, Jason Ellis studied sculpture at the University of Chichester. His tutor, Alan Saunders, had studied under Anthony Caro at St. Martin’s School of Art. Following his degree, he trained and worked as a sculpture conservator in London for eight years and Ireland for a further twelve, having moved to Dublin in 1994. He carved and sold work on a part-time basis.
